When to say I love you is not as important as how you say I love you. It is possible that some people are not as open to emotional connection at certain times. If you learn the skills to express love they way they need to hear it, then when to say I love you is not that important anymore.
My perception is that if you are so concerned with when to say I love you then you will miss the opportunities when they arise. If I can use the analogy of baseball to describe this, it is like standing at the plate watching the pitches go by without taking a swing at the ball with the bat.
If you don’t want to miss the boat then I suggest you take some time learning about all the ways to say I love you. When you become fluent in the methods, then there will always be an opportunity, so when to say I love you becomes of less importance.
There are seven different ways to say I love you and most don’t involve verbalizing it. There are three ways that someone can perceive love and if you combine these variables there are twenty-one variations for you to know. When known you will always be prepared to say it.
It takes some knowledge and practice to pick up the skills needed to know when to say I love you. And as we pointed out it is not so much when to say I love you but how you say it that makes the difference. Imagine how improved your relationships might be with these skills I mention part of your being.
With your relationships flourishing I imagine your life being much happier and fulfilled. When you learn the skills to say I love you, in the unique way your partner needs to perceive it, you will no longer need to worry about when to say I love you.
